The Credit Union of Colorado Foundation provides ten (10) $5,000, and (5) $10,000 annual scholarships for students. Eligibility for a scholarship is extended to students who are Colorado residents enrolled in, or scheduled to enter, an accredited college or university as an undergraduate taking at least 12 credit hours. Scholarship award criteria includes maintaining a minimum 3.5 grade-point average in high school or during the previous 12 months as a college undergraduate. Students must also submit an essay which explains their financial need for this scholarship assistance. Scholarship renewals are not automatic; the student must reapply each year.
The Credit Union of Colorado Foundation funds scholarships for students enrolled in degree, certificate or transfer programs at any of the 13 colleges within the Colorado Community College System - a network of 35+ locations serving more than 130,000 students statewide each year. Key eligibility requirements include a minimum of half-time enrollment and meeting residency requirements. Applications are open through April 26, 2026.
